Q: What is Quillpill?
A: Quillpill replaces your notebook. Write fiction, poetry, essays, or anything at all from your desktop or mobile phone. Whenever you have a moment, you can add a few sentences to your writing, or catch up on the progress of your friends. Write or read while waiting for a cab, sitting at a restaurant, or relaxing in bed. Quillpill can be updated on the go or used at home. So curl up with your phone and be creative!

Q: How do I create a bookmark?
A: First, be sure you're logged into your account. When reading a book, simply click the bookmark button to the right of the entry. Your bookmarked post will be green, and when you click the bookmark icon at the top of the book you'll be automatically brought directly to that entry. No need to page through the book to find your place!

Q: It logs me out when I try to post, oh no!
A: Go to the security settings of your browser and make sure it is accepting cookies.

Q: How do I create a book?
A: After you have registered and activated your account, you need to create your first book. Choose the "Create a new book" link in the menu on the left. Enter your book's title on the line above where it says "title" and a description in the description field. Don't worry, you can edit these later! That's it! Choose between options like email notifications, privacy level, and comments, then hit submit!

Q: How do I edit my book?
A: After logging in, select "my books" and then click the edit icon next to the book you want to modify. This will let you modify the title, description, and options of the book. Individual posts can be edited per post. You can also delete the book from the system. Be careful, this is permanent.

Q: How do I edit my posts?
A: When viewing your book while logged in, simply select the edit button on the right of the post. You can also delete a post from the book by clicking on the trash icon.

Q: Can I leave a comment for another author?
A: You can comment on another writer's book. When viewing the book, select the "view discussion" text next to the top of the entries. This will display the comments that have been left so far and allow you to post your own comment.

Q: How do I know when an author updates?
A: When viewing a book you can "pick it up" for easy access, subscribe to email notifications, or both. Click the book icon to follow the book. This will place the book on your list of book that you are reading, allowing you to find it easily. You can also click the letter icon to receive emails to the address in your profile whenever the user adds an update.
